Nan and Bear on the road to Mass.

I find the houses along in this area facinating to look at.

We stopped at a salt water pond area and I found this home.

Fish get caught in these areas when the tide comes in and goes out.

Boats out fishing for the day.

Found a marsh area went on a hike and learned about how the marshes are effected by the tides.

More of the marshlands on our hike.

The river you see flows salt water in and our of the marsh.

We left the marsh and headed on down the road. Saw this interesting building.

We rounded a curve and found the Maine Diner, home of the best lobster roll ever.

This diner was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. They decribed this lobster roll as one of the best.

The diner logo. sorry this picture did not come out too clear.

I ordered she crab soup. It was sooooo good.

Liz is enjoying her Lobster roll.

And then we had desert. This is a cornmeal pudding with ice cream.  Oh it was so good. It is called Indian Pudding.

I know you will recognize the names on this green sign.

We found another lighthouse.

We stopped and bought three lobsters to have at Liz's sister's home. And here is our future delicious meal.

Out of the pot they come after their cooking.

Into a pan and on the table.

After this grand meal celebrating Liz's birthday, I went on down to a campground and Liz visited with her sister a few days.  Keep tuned more on the way.
