On the Road to Niagra Falls

Here we are at Niagra Falls. Liz and Molly are looking at which way we should go first.

There is a mist in the air from the falls. Feels like a light rain.

The water pouring over the falls is impressive. They stated that 173,000 gallons of water fall on the American side per second. Now that is a lot of water.

The rapids on the Niagra River are swift.

More of the rapids.

This is the bridge going to the Canadian side.

All those little blue things below are people boarding the Maid of the Mist. Now those little blue ponchos keep a few drops of water off of ya...but let me tell you it is a very wet ride.

Here is a boat load of people going out dry and happy, will come back wet and happy.

Here are pictures of the falls getting up close and personal. What you might see as fog, is actually a mist of water spraying down on us.

Another view of the falls from the boat, right about here, I covered and hoped to stay a bit dry.....didn't happen. LOL

This is all you can see as you enter under the falls, this is water, water everywhere.

Daredevils challenging these whirlpool rapids. Don't think this is something I would want to do.

This is a churning sight to see

As we were leaving saw this squirrel working his little heart out cleaning out a cookie bag someone had dropped.
